About
We are the technology team inside the network.
HonorLabs is a department of Honor Health Network. We build and run the internal software used by the network's agencies — and we answer to the people using it.
What we are
HonorLabs is not a vendor and not a startup. We are an in-house team, funded by the network we serve, responsible for the applications, automations, and integrations that the agencies of Honor Health Network rely on to operate.
That arrangement changes what good work looks like. There is no customer to win and no contract to renew — there is a scheduler who needs a screen to load faster, a coordinator whose monthly report takes two days by hand, an administrator who needs two systems to agree with each other. We are measured by whether those things get better.
What we're responsible for
- Building internal applications for agency operations, scheduling, coordination, and reporting.
- Automating recurring manual work so it happens reliably instead of repeatedly.
- Integrating the platforms our agencies already use so information moves between them correctly.
- Operating what we build — monitoring, patching, supporting, and improving it after launch.
- Communicating through the notifications, alerts, and reports our systems send to the people who use them.
How we think about data
We work inside a health network, which sets the floor for how we handle information. Access to any system we build is scoped to the people whose job requires it. We collect the data a tool needs to do its job and not more. And we keep sensitive information in systems designed and controlled for that purpose.
The public website you're reading now is deliberately inert: it is static, it sets no cookies, and it runs no analytics or advertising scripts. What we do with information you send us is written out in our privacy policy.
The mail we send
Because our tools notify people, email is part of the product. We publish a full description of the messages we send, who receives them, how they came to be on a list, and how to leave one, on our email practices page. Every message we send identifies HonorLabs as the sender and gives the recipient a way to reach a human.
